3- Sports Massage (& Injury) Therapy

Sports massage is not just for sports men and women, it is beneficial to everyone. Everyone has tension that can be relieved by the application of sports massage.

Sports massage is a deep, muscular massage which is concentrated on a specific area of the body. It also helps injuries that can affect your occupation, sport or quality of life.

For sportsmen and women, sports massage will aid a specific area relevant to your sporting activity. Muscles which have been used during arduous activity gain tension. It is aimed at improving performance, assisting recovery between training, monitoring the build up of muscular stress, treating specific injuries and aiding recovery after injury. The treatment is achieved by the use of stretching techniques, massage, exercises and advice. All treatment rooms are equipped with heatng/ air conditioning and there are private, screened changing areas within each room. Toilet and shower facilities are available to use either before or after treatment.

The treatment time is variable depending on the client needs.

Pricing;

  • One and a half hours                 £ 45.00
  • One hour                                     £ 30.00
  • Half an hour                                £ 15.00  (£10 for leg massage only for runners)

You only pay for the treatment you need! We aim to meet your needs in the shortest time possible without compromising on care. There are no expensive compulsory 'tie-ins' for blocks of treatments, leaving you free to choose according to your own needs and budget.
